Food equity

We believe sustenance is a human right, and that no one should be forced to go hungry. SWC is an active member in the Chicagoland Food Sovereignty Coalition (CFSC) and we work to provide high-quality food to high-need areas...no questions asked.

In the spring of 2024, we piloted food delivery to folks in and around Marquette Park, West Lawn and Brighton Park.

Our 24/7 network

Find a newspaper box or fridge for 24/7 access to fresh or shelf stable food, for those in immediate need. (Also listed here are little free libraries.)
